Novoflex UV Resistant Nylon Cable Ties are high performance ties with superior tensile strength. They are manufactured from the toughest of materials, 100% pure and virgin Nylon 6.6 thus imparting a 50% greater tensile strength (measured at DAM values) than the industry standard. Our Cable Ties offer a superior construction that is lightweight yet offers unmatched durability throughout the life of the product. They can be used manually or in conjunction with our tensioning tools.
Non UV Resistant Nylon Cable Ties (generally available in Natural White, or just Black colour) may be affected by exposure to ultra-violet (UV) light i.e. from direct and indirect sun light. UV exposure eventually results in material oxidation, diminishing the mechanical performance characteristic of cable ties.
Novoflex UV Resistant Nylon Cable Ties are suitable for continuous or extended exposure to outdoor conditions in harsh, sunny and hot climate conditions.Novoflex UV Resistant Nylon Cable Ties are manufactured with special additives and Carbon Black which is resistant to UV radiation, rain and other external weather conditions, thereby prolonging the life of the cable ties.
We recommend the usage of tensioning tools to achieve optimum tightening and a neat finish to your installations.
Material: UL Listed Nylon 6.6, Resistant to Fungus, Corrosion, and most mild acids.
Flammability Rating: UL94 V-2
UV Resistance: Tested for continuous 1000 hours against UV Radiation under a Xenon Arc lamp by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) which is equivalent to 10 years of outdoor exposure.
Standard Colour: UV Resistant Black (B).
Continuous Operating Temperature: -25° C to +85° C.
Intermittent Temperature: -25° C to +105° C (up to 500 hours).
Halogen Free: Yes.
Tensile Strength: High Tensile Strength provides a secure locking which will not slip, come off or slacken. Ties must be cut to be removed.
Storage Conditions: To be stored in a cool, dark, dry place away from sunlight in a sealed condition.
